Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the Tongadale Hotel, with its prime location right in the heart of Portree making it easy to explore. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall experience. However, I found the breakfast disappointing, as it could have offered a wider selection. It’s a good base for exploring Skye, but the dining options could be improved. 😌🏨
I just got back from staying at the Tongadale Hotel, and while the rooms were basic and a bit cramped, the incredible staff really made my experience memorable. The vibe was lively, thanks to its central location above a pub. I enjoyed the breakfast and found dinner to be quite decent, but I did experience some noise issues during the early hours. Overall, it was a solid choice for a short stay in Portree.
I had a pretty solid stay at the Tongadale Hotel in Portree, but there were a few hiccups along the way. My room was cozy with a fantastic view of the sea through a Velux window, which was a nice bonus after a long day of exploring. However, I faced some issues with parking since there was no loading zone available, and the room itself was a bit cramped, overlooking some ductwork. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with friendly vibes and decent food.
I had a mixed experience at the Tongadale Hotel. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help, particularly with breakfast. However, the room I stayed in was quite small for three adults, which made the experience feel a bit cramped. Overall, I appreciated the hospitality but felt that the pricing did not match the comfort offered.
My stay at the Tongadale Hotel in Portree had its ups and downs. While the friendly staff and delicious breakfast were definite highlights, the lack of parking and small, minimalist rooms left something to be desired. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but I might look elsewhere next time I visit.
